Happy Wed. +19 here. Looks like it could be nice.

Yokel news is nothing to brag about.

Locally, the lead story is Joe Miller lied about accessing others’ computers

The story does not present an attractive side of Mr. Miller, I must say. I thought it would be less serious. Oh, well. It’s easy to see now why he wanted this information blocked.

There is a second article headed Miller barred from Fairbanks borough employment until 2012, documents show

In the Police Report we have some misbehavior—

• Jillian May Dolloff, 32, of North Pole, was charged with fourth-degree assault after she allegedly pushed her roommate into a wall Sunday.

• Sarah Jane Guzman, 21, of Fort Wainwright, was charged with fourth-degree assault after she allegedly got on top of another woman and started hitting her during an argument on post.

• Troopers arrested Shilo M. Morris, 23, of Fairbanks, Friday night on charges of misdemeanor assault and violating conditions of his release for allegedly beating his girlfriend so badly she had to be taken to the hospital. Morris allegedly began yelling at the woman when she returned to their room at the College Inn on Fairbanks Street Friday about 8:30 p.m. and then punched her multiple times in the face. The woman fled to the hotel manager’s office to call 911. The woman suffered swelling and scratches on her head and face and appeared to have a black eye when troopers arrived.

• Harold Williams Pierce, 49, of Fairbanks, was charged with misdemeanor assault after being arrested by Fairbanks police Thursday morning. Pierce is accused of repeatedly hitting another man in the face outside the Stone Soup Cafe on First Avenue. According to a criminal complaint, Pierce attacked the man when he walked outside the cafe a short time after the two men exchanged words inside. Police arrested Pierce as he was walking away after the second attack. The victim suffered a number of small cuts on his face, a bloody nose and a possible broken nose.

• Tiffany Marie Titus, 22, of Fairbanks, was arrested on a charge of assaulting a police officer Saturday morning after she allegedly kicked a Fairbanks police officer in the knee. Police were called to a report of a disturbance at a home on 24th Avenue at 5 a.m. and Titus was arrested on an outstanding warrant for failing to appear in court on an earlier charge of assault on a police officer. While waiting to be booked at Fairbanks Correctional Center, Titus allegedly became agitated and began pull away from the officer. When the officer told her to calm down, she kicked him in the knee.
